Welcome to Maloca. These terms keep things fair for everyone — by using Maloca you agree to them. They're written in plain English on purpose.

What Maloca is

Maloca is a planning tool for your house hunt: it helps you discover areas of London that fit your commute and lifestyle, track property viewings, and compare the homes you see. It is a decision-support tool — the decisions themselves, and the checking that goes with them, are yours.

The important disclaimer

Please read this one properly:

Commute times are estimates, built from public transport data. Real journeys vary — always check a route yourself before committing to a home based on it.
AI-generated insights can be wrong. Area summaries (safety, schools, lifestyle, prices and so on) are produced by an AI model and may be inaccurate or out of date. Verify anything important from official sources.
Nothing in Maloca is financial, legal or property advice. Mortgage figures are illustrative only. Speak to qualified professionals before buying a home.

Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll make — Maloca is here to help you think, not to think for you.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account and you're responsible for what happens under it. If you link with a partner, you're choosing to share your viewings and shortlist data with them — only link with someone you trust.

Fair use

AI features come with a monthly allowance per account. Don't try to circumvent the allowance, automate requests, scrape the service, probe its security, or use Maloca for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

The notes, ratings and details you add are yours. You give us permission to store and process them purely to run the service for you — see the Privacy Policy for the details.

Availability

Maloca is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or unchanged. We may update, modify or discontinue features at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of Maloca — including decisions made based on commute estimates, AI insights, or any other information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

Ending things

You can stop using Maloca at any time, and can ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms we'll update the date above and flag significant changes in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
